Each barrel is hand sandblasted only in the rear of the barrel, using extremely fine particles to achieve a distinctly matte texture.
The entire barrel is then covered by an ultra-tough black titanium nitride coating for long-lasting barrel protection. This provides a contrast in look and feel between the precision sandblasted section and the rest of the barrel and shaft.
The Gen 4 also comes with a titanium-coated Black Diamond Pro point to minimize board dropouts. The Diamond Pro also features a grip area for players who want to place a finger on the dot during their throw. Fully G4 Black Titanium coated titanium shaft with improved grooves at the base of the shaft for extra grip.
